- Move the variable to one side by adding or subtracting the same quantity from both sides.

How to Solve a Quadratic Equation
A quadratic equation has the standard form ax² + bx + c = 0. Solve it with the quadratic formula:
x = (−b ± √(b² − 4ac)) / 2a
